Marijuana - Legal or Illegal

Marijuana is illegal virtually everywhere on the planet, but why?  During the past week we have discussed the upsides and downsides of this controversial drug.  What do you think and why?  Write a 300 word minimum essay explaining your position on the legalization of marijuana.  Should it be legalized in Honduras or other places?  If so, why? If not, why?  It's ok to explain the good and the bad, just take a side and make your arguement.  Include one relevant picture and have it done and posted on your blog by Sunday, March 27th.

Meth: The World's Most Dangerous Drug

Methamphetamine is not a new drug - it has been around for over 100 years - it was first used to help soldiers fight better and avoid fatigue.  Over the past couple of decades it has grown into a worldwide problem and it's use continues to spread.  Meth's ease of addiction, lack of cost and extended "rush" have given it increasing popularity but it remains an incredibly dangerous drug, not only for it's users but for society in general.

After watching the documentary: The World's Most Dangerous Drug, write a 200 word response including what you learned from the video as well as your ideas and opinions regarding this topic.  This assignment is due by Sunday March 6th.
